Ronald Commons is an affordable housing development in Shoreline at 178th Street between Aurora Avenue North and Linden Avenue North. The mixed-use building includes 60 units of affordable housing owned and operated by Compass Housing Alliance and is complemented by a 12,000 square feet Hopelink Integrated Service Center and food bank.

The Integrated Service Center includes a food bank, family services, and financial education and assistance for low-income households. An internal courtyard, play area, and walking path create an integrated connection between the three program facilities.

 

INCOME ELIGIBILITY*

Ronald Commons Housing Units are available to individuals and households at 50% Area Median Income (AMI) and 30% (AMI).

Compass is only able to accept applications for the Ronald Commons Housing Units designated at 50% AMI.  The individuals and households who are income eligible for these units are earning between $1,842 and $2,764 per month.

Ronald Commons Housing Units designated for individuals and households at 30% AMI are being referred through 2-1-1 in accordance with King County’s Coordinated Entry process.

Monthly Rent: Ronald Commons monthly rent charged for the 50% AMI units range from $791 for a studio unit to $1,174 for a 3 bedroom unit; monthly electric usage charge is not included in the rent amounts posted.

Tenant Based Voucher: CHA encourages individuals and households with Tenant-Based subsidy vouchers to apply; regardless of income.
